Team Head, LATAM & Iberia Investment Advisory

As Team Head of LATAM & Iberia Investment Advisory, you will lead a high-performing team of investment advisors and serve as the primary strategic partner for relationship managers covering Latin America and Iberia. You will not only provide investment advice and financial market analysis, but also bring strong cultural knowledge, language skills, and established credibility in the region.

Tasks

The tasks include:

• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of experienced investment advisors specializing in Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula
• Strategic investment advice for high-net-worth clients
• Customer engagement and executive presence
• Regional Insights and Thought Leadership
• Governance, Risk, and Control Framework

Requirements

The requirements include:

• Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish; proficiency in Portuguese is strongly preferred
• 5+ years of experience in wealth management, preferably at Julius Baer or a similar organization
• Expertise across all major asset classes (stocks, bonds, derivatives, hedge funds, private markets, and structured products)
• Extensive knowledge of tax principles (Swiss and international), estate planning, and anti-money laundering regulations
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences
• Proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, and the Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to quickly master internal tools
