Team Lead, Legal Entities / Client Data Management Office

The job posting seeks an experienced team leader for the Client Data Management Office who will manage a team of Client Data Officers and be responsible for the administration of client records and data. The ideal candidate should have experience in private banking, particularly in the onboarding or compliance department, as well as knowledge of CDB regulations and AML guidelines.

Your role

The Client Data Management Office is seeking an experienced CDB expert to lead the Legal Entities team, which is responsible for reviewing and processing client documentation and data to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the data throughout the entire client lifecycle at the bank.

Your Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of Client Data Officers responsible for legal entities
  • Review and process all account openings to ensure smooth operations for customers
  • Serve as a point of contact for our relationship managers and provide guidance on account opening standards and documentation gaps to help them grow their business
  • Act as a bridge between the bank's various stakeholder groups, including Front Office, Legal, Compliance, and IT, to ensure that their interests are aligned
  • Leading projects to improve the bank’s processes and tools and to standardize documentation requirements in accordance with CDB regulations and bank directives
  • Supporting the bank in its ongoing transition from manual, paper-based customer files to digital onboarding
  • Management of physical and electronic static data throughout a customer's entire lifecycle
  • Ensuring excellent customer relationships and satisfaction, and handling escalations promptly and effectively
  • Develop a deep understanding of the bank's processes, products, and services

Your profile

  • Banking training or a relevant degree
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in private banking, preferably as an onboarding specialist or compliance officer
  • CDB expert, particularly in the area of legal entities, with in-depth knowledge of AML, FATCA/QI, and CRS regulations
  • Strong prioritization, organizational, and analytical skills are essential
  • A reliable team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a hands-on approach
  • Creating a productive environment for the team
  • Demonstrated ability to take on responsibility, work under pressure, and set priorities
  • Fluent English and German
  • Proficiency in IT; experience with Avaloq is a plus
