Team Head - Products & Services Compliance

Tasks

The position of Team Head – Products & Services Compliance involves the following responsibilities:

• Leadership, mentoring, and development of a high-performing compliance team for product and service monitoring
• Ensuring full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and supervisory expectations across all BJBE entities
• Assumption of second line of defense mandates through independent, objective assessment and challenge of front-line functions
• Advising business units, the legal department, risk management, and product development on compliance issues related to current and new regulations
• Proactively assess the impact of changing regulatory landscapes and translate them into manageable policies and controls
• Contribute to strategic, cross-functional projects that incorporate compliance
• Development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a risk-based compliance monitoring framework
• Monitoring the implementation of the annual compliance control plan and escalating findings
• Preparation of comprehensive periodic and ad hoc reports for BJBE senior management, the Head of Regulatory and Product & Services Compliance, the Chief Compliance Officer, and Group Compliance
• Representing the Compliance function on internal committees and coordinating responses to regulatory inquiries

Requirements

The position of Team Head - Products & Services Compliance requires:

• In-depth knowledge of MiFID II, anti-fraud mechanisms, and tax compliance protocols
• Professional proficiency in using data analysis tools to identify patterns, support risk assessments, and improve monitoring efficiency
• Strong attention to detail, combined with pragmatic, solution-oriented thinking
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead and motivate professional teams in a matrix organization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
• Ability to act independently under pressure while maintaining composure and sound judgment
• High ethical standards, personal integrity, and commitment to operational excellence
