The position of Team Head – Products & Services Compliance plays a central role within the compliance function. This position is responsible for safeguarding the bank’s integrity and regulatory standing by leading a dedicated team tasked with proactive compliance monitoring of core business activities.Tasks
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing compliance team focused on product and service oversight, and fostering a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement. - Ensuring full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and supervisory expectations across all BJBIE entities. - Advancing the “Second Line of Defense” mandate by providing independent, objective assessment and challenging front-line functions. - Serving as a trusted advisor to business units, the legal department, risk management, and product development regarding compliance implications related to current and emerging regulations. - Proactively assess the implications of evolving regulatory landscapes and translate these into manageable policies and control enhancements. - Make strategic contributions to cross-functional projects involving new product launches, market expansions, or system implementations that require compliance integration. - Design, implement, and continuously refine a risk-based compliance monitoring framework that aligns with group standards and local regulatory expectations. - Monitor the execution of the annual compliance control plan, ensuring timely delivery and effective escalation of findings. - Facilitate corrective actions in collaboration with first-line stakeholders and monitor progress toward resolution. - Prepare comprehensive periodic and ad hoc reports for BJBIE senior management, the Head of Regulatory and Product & Services Compliance, the Chief Compliance Officer, and Group Compliance, detailing the effectiveness of controls, trends in issues, and mitigation plans. - Representing Compliance on key internal committees at the BJBIE and Group levels, contributing to company-wide risk discussions and policy formulation. - Coordinating responses to regulatory inquiries and internal and external audit requests, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of MiFID II, anti-fraud mechanisms, and tax compliance protocols. - Proficiency in using data analysis tools to identify patterns, support risk assessments, and improve monitoring efficiency. - Exceptional attention to detail, balanced with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset. - Strong leadership presence with a proven ability to lead and motivate professional teams within a matrix organization. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; other languages are considered an asset. - Ability to act independently under pressure while maintaining composure and sound judgment. - High ethical standards, personal integrity, and a commitment to operational excellence.We offer
