Team Head & Senior Project Manager - Compliance Analytics & Transformation 100% (f/m/d)

The Team Leader and Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) for Compliance Analytics and Transformation leads a high-level transformation team and oversees the implementation of strategic, global projects in the area of compliance. The focus is on leading change initiatives, promoting innovation, and optimizing operational processes.

Tasks

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of strategic, global projects and large-scale change initiatives within the Compliance function, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and regulatory commitments
  • Govern and manage the compliance transformation portfolio, maintaining a structured pipeline of initiatives and prioritizing efforts based on strategic impact, regulatory demand, and resource availability.
  • Ensure close alignment between project activities and overarching bank-wide transformation program
  • Promote innovation and operational efficiency by identifying opportunities for automation, process optimization, and enhanced data utilization across compliance operations.
  • Lead strategic initiatives within the global Compliance function, with a focus on technology enablement, process optimization, data analytics, and business intelligence to enhance control effectiveness and operational efficiency
  • Initiate and define new projects in response to business needs, regulatory requirements, or directives from senior management.
  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, defining business requirements, solution testing, implementation, and measuring success
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal IT teams and external vendors to conduct in-depth analyses and identify best-in-class solutions, leveraging both emerging technologies and the Compliance Analytics & Transformation team's proprietary in-house infrastructure
  • Oversee project governance frameworks, including the facilitation of project steering committees, regular progress reporting, risk escalation, and alignment with senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Operate effectively within an agile project environment, applying iterative methodologies to deliver value incrementally
  • Perform ad hoc business analysis and reports, and provide cross-functional support to other projects and team members within Compliance Analytics & Transformation

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in economics, business administration, finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in program and project management within a global financial services environment, including at least 3-5 years in a people management role, leading experience in program and project management
  • Proficient in project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving in ambiguous environments
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and managing upward communication
