Team Head & Senior Project Manager - Compliance Analytics & Transformation 100% (f/m/d)
The Team Leader and Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) for Compliance Analytics and Transformation is a leadership role in which strategic, global projects and transformation initiatives within the compliance function at Julius Baer are managed and developed. The candidate will lead a high-level transformation team and ensure the implementation of projects.

Tasks
- Overseeing the execution of strategic, global projects and large-scale change initiatives within the compliance function to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and regulatory obligations
- Lead and manage the compliance transformation portfolio to maintain a structured pipeline of initiatives and prioritize efforts based on strategic impact, regulatory demand, and resource availability
- Ensuring close coordination between project activities and the comprehensive bank-wide transformation program
- Promoting innovation and operational efficiency by identifying opportunities for automation, process optimization, and improved data utilization across all compliance operations
- Lead strategic initiatives within the global compliance function with a focus on technology enablement, process optimization, data analytics, and business intelligence to improve control effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Initiating and defining new projects in response to business requirements, regulatory requirements, or directives from senior management
- Management of the entire project lifecycle, including planning, definition of business requirements, solution testing, implementation, and performance measurement
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal IT teams and external vendors to conduct deeper analysis and identify best-in-class solutions, leveraging both emerging technologies and the Compliance Analytics & Transformation team's proprietary in-house infrastructure.
- Monitoring project governance frameworks, including conducting project steering committee meetings, regular progress reports, risk escalation, and coordination with senior management and key stakeholders
- Effective work in an agile project environment, using iterative methods for incremental delivery of value
- Conducting ad hoc business analyses and reports, and providing cross-functional support to other projects and team members within Compliance Analytics & Transformation
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent, preferably in economics, business administration, finance, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in program and project management within a global financial services environment, including at least 3-5 years in a people management role, as a leader
- Proficient in project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to problem solving in ambiguous environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders, managing upward communication
