Team Head Trade Support

Your role

As Team Head Trade Support, you and your team of 8 are responsible for the monitoring and settlement of exchange-traded securities and derivatives. You will ensure that all transactions are booked on time and provide support to our sales team.

Your tasks

• Management and development of the team, collaboration in daily business and driving forward automation to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Responsibility for the timely booking of exchange-traded securities, the live cycle of exchange-traded options and futures (booking of trades, capital transactions, exercises, expiries, cash management, reconciliation) as well as for inquiries from our international locations and from Switzerland
• Booking of Certificates of Deposit (CD) and Direct Currency Investments (DCI) and monitoring of order books to identify open orders and prevent errors
• Posting of transactions from 24-hour trading
• Ensuring correct and timely transmission of large trader reporting to the relevant exchanges and authorities
• Processing the buy-in process for outstanding deliveries
• Withholding tax clarifications and adjustments
• Payment of SWX fees, turnover tax and financial transaction tax
• Processing of open items as part of the reconciliation process
• Ensuring end-of-day inspections

Your profile

• Higher specialized education in banking and/or several years of experience in securities/operations
• Sound management experience
• Hands-on mentality, strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, analytical approach and ability to work under pressure
• Experience in managing and working on automation/efficiency improvement projects
• Experience with the Avaloq banking system is an advantage
• Negotiation skills in German and English, French an advantage
