Pre-Collection Team
UBS is seeking a team leader for its pre-collection team who will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and professionally sound handling of delinquent consumer loan receivables. The ideal candidate will have a basic business education, leadership experience, and several years of experience in pre-litigation debt collection.
The role
As a team player, help us achieve our ambitious goals by handling debt collection in accordance with the law. In this diverse and exciting role, you will lead the Pre-Collection Credit Team and be responsible for ensuring that delinquent consumer credit receivables are processed reliably and with professional expertise.Main Activities
- You and your team ensure that credit accounts are processed in a timely, process-oriented, and effective manner as part of the pre-litigation collection process
- In accordance with regulatory and legal requirements, you will be responsible for providing customers with impeccable service in pre-legal debt collection.
- You will serve as the service owner for digital receivables management and be responsible for its further development
- You optimize the organization and processes in your area of responsibility in terms of efficiency, question the status quo, and actively contribute to further development.
- You will work closely with your peers and maintain regular and professional contact with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., debt counseling agencies, government agencies, etc.).
Requirements
- Basic business training with management experience (at least 3 years)
- Several years of relevant practical experience in pre-litigation debt collection
- Knowledge of the Swiss Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG) and the Swiss Debt Collection Act (KKG), as well as experience
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in managing small teams
