Economic Data Team
The Swiss National Bank is seeking a candidate for its Economic Data Team who holds a master’s degree and has at least five years of experience to assist with the design of data pipelines, quality control, and the creation of dashboards and reports for granular economic data.
Your tasks
- Establishment of data pillars for granular economic data and definition of the associated business data transformation chains.
- Design and implementation of data processes for processing and quality control of the collected data in close collaboration with internal departments.
- Design and creation of dashboards and reports for visualizing and analyzing the collected data.
Your profile
- Master's degree in Business Information Systems, Economics (with a quantitative focus), Financial Mathematics, or a comparable field of study
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Effective integration of financial time series, economic growth data, and their data bus
- Several years of work experience in the field of data, particularly in data modeling, data architecture, and data analysis
- Strong programming skills in Python or R, particularly knowledge of Spark and SQL
- Work experience in projects related to location policy
- Ability to work well with others, reliability, and a high degree of independence
- Excellent German and good English or French skills
