Team Leader, Debt Collection

The role

As a team leader, help us achieve our ambitious goals through lawful debt collection. In this diverse and exciting role, you will lead the Pre-Collection Credit Team and be responsible for ensuring that delinquent consumer loan receivables are handled reliably and with professional expertise.

Tasks

The main tasks include:

• You and your team ensure that credit accounts are processed in a timely, process-oriented, and effective manner as part of the pre-litigation collection process
• In accordance with regulatory and legal requirements, you will be responsible for providing customers with impeccable service in pre-legal debt collection.
• You will serve as the service owner for digital receivables management and be responsible for its further development
• You optimize the organization and processes in your area of responsibility in terms of efficiency, question the status quo, and actively contribute to further development.
• You will work closely with your peers and maintain regular, professional communication with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., debt counseling agencies, government offices, etc.)

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

• Basic business training with management experience (at least 3 years)
• Several years of relevant practical or professional experience in debt collection
• Knowledge of the Swiss Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG) and the Swiss Debt Collection Act (KKG), as well as experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience leading small groups
