Team Leader, Debt Collection

The role

As a team leader in pre-legal debt collection, help us achieve our ambitious goals. In this diverse and exciting role, you will lead the Pre-Legal Debt Collection Team and be responsible for ensuring that delinquent consumer loan receivables are handled reliably and with professional expertise.

Tasks

These are your main responsibilities:

• You and your team ensure that credit positions are processed in a timely, compliant, and effective manner in pre-legal collection.
• In accordance with regulatory and legal requirements, you will be responsible for providing customers with impeccable service in pre-legal debt collection.
• You will serve as the service owner for digital receivables management and be responsible for its further development
• You optimize the organization and processes in your area of responsibility in terms of efficiency, question the status quo, and actively contribute to further development.
• You will work closely with your peers and maintain regular, professional communication with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

That's what we want:

• Basic commercial training with relevant continuing education
• Management experience (at least 3 years)
• Several years of relevant professional experience in the banking sector, ideally in the credit department
• Knowledge of the Swiss Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG) and the Swiss Insolvency Act (KKG) is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Very good verbal and written communication skills in German
• Experience in managing small teams
• Languages: Native-level proficiency in German or very strong proficiency; knowledge of other national languages is a plus
