Team Leader, Debt Collection

As a team leader in pre-legal debt collection, you will be responsible for the reliable and technically flawless processing of consumer credit claims at risk of default and will manage a team. You will optimize processes, further develop digital claims management, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

The role

As a team leader in pre-legal debt collection, you will contribute to achieving our ambitious goals. In this varied and exciting role, you will lead the pre-collection credit team and be responsible for the reliable and technically flawless processing of consumer credit claims at risk of default.

These are your main responsibilities:

  • You and your team ensure that credit positions are processed in a timely, compliant, and effective manner in pre-legal collection.
  • In accordance with regulatory and legal requirements, you will be responsible for providing customers with impeccable service in pre-legal debt collection.
  • You will assume the role of service owner for digital receivables management and be responsible for its further development.
  • You optimize the organization and processes in your area of responsibility in terms of efficiency, question the status quo, and actively contribute to further development.

What we wish for

  • Basic commercial training with relevant experience
  • Management experience (at least 2 years)
  • Several years of relevant practical experience in pre-legal debt collection
  • Knowledge of the Swiss Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG) and the Swiss Credit Act (KKG) is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills
  • Very good oral and written German language skills
  • Experience in managing small teams
  • Languages: Excellent knowledge of German as a native language or German as an additional national language
