Pre-Collection Team Leader

The role

As a team leader, you will help ensure that debt collection is conducted in accordance with the law as we work toward our ambitious goals. In this diverse and exciting role, you will lead the Pre-Collection Credit Team and be responsible for the reliable and professionally sound handling of delinquent consumer loan receivables.

Tasks

These are your main responsibilities:

• You and your team ensure that credit accounts are processed in a timely, process-oriented, and effective manner as part of the pre-litigation collection process
• In accordance with regulatory and legal requirements, you will be responsible for providing customers with impeccable service in pre-legal debt collection.
• You will serve as the service owner for digital receivables management and be responsible for its further development
• You optimize the organization and processes in your area of responsibility in terms of efficiency, question the status quo, and actively contribute to further development.
• You will work closely with your peers and maintain regular, professional communication with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., debt counseling agencies, government offices, etc.)

Requirements

• Basic business training with management experience (at least 3 years)
• Several years of relevant practical experience in pre-legal debt collection
• Knowledge of the Swiss Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG) and the Swiss Debt Collection Act (KKG), as well as experience
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience leading small groups
