Team Leader, Corporate Actions (m/f/d)

VP Bank is looking for a Team Leader Corporate Actions to lead the team and actively participate in day-to-day corporate actions business, as well as optimize existing processes and implement system optimizations. The successful candidate should have at least 5 years of professional experience in the securities sector and in-depth knowledge of securities processes and settlement systems.

Your challenge

  • You will lead the Corporate Actions team and represent it within the VP Bank Group.
  • You will play an active role in daily corporate action business by scheduling and processing mandatory and voluntary corporate actions as well as dividends, interest payments, and redemptions.
  • You continuously optimize existing processes and implement improvements.
  • You will work on developing system optimizations in the Avaloq core banking software.
  • Project work is also part of your responsibilities.

Your profile

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the securities sector, preferably corporate action
  • Higher education in economics or a related field is an advantage
  • In-depth expertise in securities processes and settlement systems
  • Basic knowledge of Swiss tax law (withholding tax and imputed tax on interest and dividend income, securities portfolio taxes)
  • Experience with process and system optimizations and project managers (e.g., regulatory projects)
  • Confident written and spoken German and English. Additional foreign languages round off your profile.
