Team Leader Financial Accounting Operations

The role

• Responsibility for all payment transactions and their clarification, management and control of liquidity movements as well as cash management (floor plan)
• Operational management of dealer purchase financing (floor plan)
• Monitoring accounts payable accounting including cost center accounting and internal cost allocations within the Group
• Management of direct taxes and special taxes in close cooperation with the responsible department within the Group
• Familiarization with and assumption of responsibility for a team of six and a broad range of tasks in finance and accounting
• Processing of special statements (e.g. interest subsidies, payroll accounting, etc.)
• Management and participation in projects for the further development of applications and processes, in particular in coordination with the parent company
• Support of internal and external audits as responsible accountant of the accounting department
• Independent clarification of technical issues in collaboration with specialists

Requirements

• Initiative and resilient personality with strong assertiveness
• Several years of management experience in finance and accounting, ideally in a banking environment
• Payment transactions and taxation as well as a high affinity for IT
• Very good verbal and written communication skills in German and English
