The position of Team Leader, Debt Collection at UBS is responsible for managing the pre-collection credit team and processing consumer credit claims. The main tasks include ensuring the effective processing of credit positions, supporting customers, and optimizing processes and organization.

As a team leader in pre-legal debt collection, you will contribute to achieving our ambitious goals. In this varied and exciting role, you will lead the pre-collection credit team and be responsible for the reliable and technically flawless processing of outstanding consumer credit claims.

Main tasks

  • You and your team ensure that credit positions are processed in a timely, compliant, and effective manner during pre-legal collection.
  • In accordance with regulatory and legal requirements, you will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service in pre-legal debt collection.
  • You will assume the role of service owner for digital receivables management and be responsible for its further development.
  • You optimize the organization and processes in your area of responsibility in terms of efficiency, question the status quo, and actively contribute to further development.

Requirements

  • Basic commercial training with relevant professional experience
  • Management experience (at least 2 years)
  • Several years of relevant practical experience in pre-legal debt collection
  • Knowledge of the Swiss Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG) and the Swiss Credit Institutions Act (KKG) from CHF 10,000 to CHF 100,000
  • Strong communication skills
  • Very good oral and written German language skills
  • Experience in managing small teams
  • Languages: Excellent knowledge of German (native language or very good language skills)
