Your role
Are you ready to take an active role in our global UBS Cyber Defense environment? Are you fascinated by advanced analytics that utilize the latest big data and artificial intelligence technologies? Are you innovative, analytical and deeply motivated by the exciting and growing world of cyber security? We are looking for such a person to:
- develop and improve advanced cyber detections by working on a big data platform
- Manage and develop analytics on multi-terabyte cyber data lakes by leveraging big data technologies
- Extract and process information from terabytes of security events processed by statistical detection models
- design and implement complex workflows/pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources
- Perform multi-terabyte global forensic data acquisition and detect unknown malware missed by other security products
- collaborate within the wider TISO team to apply big data techniques to vendor technologies available in-house
Your expertise
- 3-5 years experience in a role as
- Background in data engineering, data science or software engineering
- Master's degree in a quantitative, scientific or related field
- Programming skills in Python, practical experience with distributed computing
- Proven experience in identifying, analyzing and mitigating cyber threats
- Familiarity with the Exabeam platform
- Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively
