Julius Baer is seeking a Tech Lead in Singapore for the Software Delivery Accelerator (SDA) Center to transform the DevOps organization into an agile Center of Excellence. The role requires experience as a DevOps team lead, as well as in-depth knowledge of CI/CD, cloud technologies (GitLab, Azure, Terraform, ArgoCD), and agile methodologies.
Tasks
- Head of the Software Delivery Accelerator (SDA) Center, responsible for the development of the DevOps Center and its organizational transformation.
- Providing tools, methods, and processes to support the SDA's organizational transformation into an Agile Center of Excellence.
- A crucial role in the transformation of software delivery toward an agile approach.
- Leading the DevOps Center to industry-leading standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Tech Lead.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- A "can-do" attitude, a pragmatic and open-minded approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex problems.
- Strong communication, planning, and teamwork skills.
- Motivation to work in an agile team and achieve ambitious goals together.
- Verifiable experience in computer science, information technology, or a related field; at least a bachelor's degree.
- Practical experience as a CI/CD and cloud engineer with a strong focus on GitLab, Azure, Terraform, and ArgoCD.
- Previous experience as a DevOps team lead or a strong voice in DevOps / SRE / Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
