About the role
Sygnum's Tokenization team is responsible for building, operating and further developing the tokenization platform. As Tech Lead and Manager, you will lead and drive these efforts - leading an ambitious team focused on advancing our platform within industry-shaping projects. We are looking for a tech-savvy, passionate leader who is ready to innovate in the fintech space and improve Sygnum's tokenization offering. This role involves working with various technology and business units and plays an important role in strengthening Sygnum's operational resilience in a rapidly evolving crypto space. As Tech Lead Manager, you will wear two hats: technology and management.Technical tasks
- Lead a team of software engineers to develop and own state-of-the-art solutions.
- Continuously improve the quality and security of applications by actively managing the quality of systems.
- Actively participate in the development of new features and enhancements by writing and reviewing high quality, secure code with comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with platform engineers to improve CI/CD pipelines and optimize release processes, leverage AI and automation to reduce cognitive load, improve quality and scale developer productivity.
- Work with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) and solution architects to perfect application availability, resilience and observability.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to production incidents by working with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and restore service continuity.
Managerial tasks
- Support and guide software engineers through coaching and mentoring.
- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team by driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with product managers and stakeholders to plan new features and enhancements.
- Facilitate blameless retrospectives and post-mortems to promote a culture of learning from mistakes.
- Cultivate a psychologically safe environment where every team member feels empowered to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the organization.
Ideal candidate
- Expertise in Java (Quarkus) and/or NodeJS (Nest.js).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform and GitLab CI/CD.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS), microservices architecture and modern DevOps tooling.
- Experience in technical leadership and personnel management.
- Commitment to collaboration and continuous growth.
