Tasks

As Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers to develop, operate and improve Sygnum's tokenization platform.

• Lead a team of software engineers to develop and own state-of-the-art solutions.
• Continuously improve the quality and security of applications by actively managing the quality of systems.
• Actively contribute to the development of new features and enhancements by writing and reviewing high quality, secure code with comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate with platform engineers to improve CI/CD pipelines and optimize release processes, as well as leverage AI and automation to reduce cognitive load, improve quality, and scale developer productivity.
• Collaborate with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) and solution architects to perfect the availability, resilience and observability of applications.
• Respond to production incidents promptly and efficiently by working with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and restore service continuity.

Managerial tasks

• Support and guide software engineers through coaching and mentoring.
• Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team by driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with product managers and stakeholders to plan new features and enhancements.
• Facilitate blameless retrospectives and post-mortems to promote a culture of learning from mistakes.
• Cultivate a psychologically safe environment where every team member feels empowered to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the organization.

Requirements

• Expertise in Java (Quarkus) and/or Node.JS (Nest.JS).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform and/or GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS), microservices architecture and modern development tools.
• Experience in technical leadership and personnel management.
• Commitment to collaboration and continuous growth.
• Focus on quality and safety throughout the entire development cycle.
• Ownership of the end-to-end development process.
• Proactivity and enthusiasm for new opportunities and challenges.
• Work experience on both greenfield and brownfield projects.
