Technical Account Manager
The Technical Account Manager (Vice President) at Instinet in London serves as the primary point of contact for IT/TS clients in the EMEA region and ensures an excellent level of technical service. The role requires strong communication skills, experience in the banking or trading environment, and proficiency with relevant tools such as Bloomberg and Excel.
Tasks
- Serve as a dedicated relationship manager and primary point of contact for assigned client accounts and ensure exceptional service delivery
- Providing backstop support to all IT/TS customers in EMEA during business hours to maintain service continuity in the region
- Primary responsibility for supporting IT/TS customers in the EMEA region, with the expectation of assisting IT/TS staff in other regions as needed through the global support desk
- Prompt response and management of communication with customers regarding corrective actions to resolve service-specific SLAs
- Familiarity with all aspects of Noruma and its supporting infrastructure, as well as ensuring that this knowledge is maintained as the product continues to evolve
- The position is located in London, UK. The successful candidate will join a global team of dedicated technical service professionals who are passionate about customer-focused service.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills to accurately interpret requirements and communicate effectively between global clients and the rest of the organization
- A solid understanding of processes that ensure consistency, as well as the ability to be creative and willing to investigate problems
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and to articulate time-sensitive information clearly and accurately
- Proven experience working independently in a proactive organizational role; with strong quantitative skills and experience in the banking or trading industry
- Ability to use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint at a high level, with familiarity with Bloomberg
- An understanding of markets and trading processes would be an asset, as would a background in programming or a connection to the EMEA trading desk.
