Tasks

• Development and Design of Solutions

• Standardization of documentation and alignment with product visions

• Formal management of our capabilities on shared platforms (e.g., GreenPlum, Twilio, Foundry, CI/CD platform)
• Identifying the functional requirements and understanding where the development (domain) and the engineering solution lie
• As part of the Delivery Improvement Team, contribute to the DevOps continuous strategy
• Demonstration of DevOps practices and best practices, including but not limited to standards for formatting and naming conventions, code reviews, and pull requests; testing (unit, functional, and component tests); and management of operational metrics such as log messages, alerts, deployment, business metrics, exception handling, and compliance laws and regulations
• Use of automation throughout software development, testing, provisioning, monitoring, operations management, logging, and configuration

Requirements

• Strong skills in various areas (Terraform, Node, Python)
• Practical DevOps experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Proven experience with advanced Linux (Red Hat), administration, and/or L4/L5-provisioned environments
• Broad understanding of the trading team, with a solid grasp of the products provided by SPIK AML, including knowledge of market data, trading platforms, and risk management systems

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with using tools such as JIRA, Trello, Asana, and Miro
• Support for configuring middleware stacks in Kafka and Kubernetes (K8S)
• Leading and Utilizing Our Reliability Team (Salesforce, Elasticsearch, Open Tracing)
• Development Background (ideally Java)
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as Azure
