Tasks

• Requirements analysis: You assess IT needs, create technical solution concepts and implement them together with your team.
• IT support and consulting: You are the contact person for IT infrastructure and workplace issues and work closely with the specialist departments.
• Supplier management: You support the selection and management of IT service providers and suppliers.
• Technical infrastructure: installation, configuration, administration and monitoring of systems such as clients, Windows and Linux servers, Citrix, VMware, Cisco network components as well as back-up and monitoring.
• Optimization & documentation: You analyze existing IT processes and optimize the infrastructure and workplace environment. You will also maintain the system documentation.

Requirements

• Education & experience: A degree in IT or comparable training with several years of experience in the IT sector.
• Technical knowledge: Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure and IT security, e.g. with Firewall, OpenShift, Microsoft Azure, VMware and the Microsoft product portfolio
• Coordination skills: Experience in the management and technical coordination of IT projects or teams.
• Service orientation: You enjoy contact with internal customers and are flexible.
• IT skills: Experience in IT Service Management (ITIL certification is desirable).
• Analytical ability: Structured, independent and solution-oriented approach.
• Soft skills: strong communication skills, teamwork and professionalism, communicating technical knowledge to the right audience.
• Language skills: Very good German and good written and spoken English.
