About the program
Our Technology Foundation Program invites you to join three teams working on innovative technology projects using Python, Java or C++. You will receive formal training, be mentored by senior leaders and develop a thorough understanding of our business. Upon successful completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to move between teams.
The placements also provide an opportunity to enhance or quantify the investment platform, integrate new data sources, expand our execution and order management systems and contribute to our core technology platform.
Tasks
As an Associate Engineer, you will be part of a team that develops and operates the platform that supports Man's Heritage funds.
Requirements
- Experience with one of the following programming or scripting languages: Python / Java / C++ /
- Your technical experience may have been gained through open source maintenance, 3+ years of relevant industry experience, or a recent degree or current degree in computer science, engineering, math, physics, or a related field
- Understanding of how source control and continuous deployment workflows work with tools like Git
- Self-organized with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage time when working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Self-starter with a desire to learn and understand more about the business environment in which you work
