Technology Procurement Specialist
The role of Technology Procurement Specialist at PwC in Tel Aviv involves the strategic management of IT procurement, supplier management, and the development of cost-effective procurement strategies. The position requires at least three years of experience in IT procurement, knowledge of Oracle Procurement, and fluency in English and Hebrew.
Tasks
- Be responsible for a diverse client portfolio and serve as an independent subject matter expert in their areas of engagement.
- Applying problem-solving, curious, and critical thinking to develop solutions that increase value across an organization.
- Manage customer expectations by delivering timely and meaningful results; interact with customers at all levels to earn their respect and trust.
- Understanding the client's business and acting as an advisor to senior-level decision-makers within the client's business environment.
- Leverage subject-matter expertise and network knowledge to create synergies with other company services and within PwC, and to increase the overall value of the engagement for the client.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for IT hardware, cloud services, software, and other technology services, ensuring compliance with internal policies and best practices, and developing efficient and cost-effective procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with various business units and IT project teams to define technical requirements and specifications, develop service agreements with suppliers, monitor contract performance, and ensure quality, on-time delivery, value, transparency, and business optimization.
- Focus on strategic procurement activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and relationship management; building relationships with major technology suppliers and maintaining a strong supplier network.
- Conducting market research and benchmarking to stay up to date on technology trends, prices, and the supplier landscape; identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and better terms in technology procurement.
- Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements; monitor and report on procurement KPIs, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
- Collaborate with the IT, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure that technology procurement activities are aligned with business objectives; provide recommendations on best practices in technology procurement.
- Evaluation and recommendation of procurement tools and systems for process optimization and automation; ensuring data quality and integrity in procurement records and reports.
- Gathering information on emerging technologies and global market trends, and assessing their impact on the organization's technology procurement needs; developing cross-functional initiatives to align procurement with the overall technology strategy.
- Contribute to the development of the purchasing business plan and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration or an equivalent field.
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
- Professional experience in procurement—preferably in IT, digital services, and technology
