Technology Risk Control Manager

Job description

Technology Risk Control is a newly established function within the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) organization and ensures that technological risks are managed appropriately and, ultimately, that information, as one of the most valuable assets, is protected.

Tasks

The tasks include:

• Support and promote the definition, implementation, and maintenance of the IT and security risk governance framework
• Monitoring the Technology Control Framework and challenging the first line of defense regarding the design and operational effectiveness of technological controls
• Reviewing the risk assessment and risk evaluation of the first line of defense and ensuring that risk assessments are conducted consistently and in accordance with the bank's risk management framework

Requirements

The requirements are:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for risk management and drive to build up the newly established function and lead it to success
• A hands-on individual who can independently drive initiatives and tasks forward
• Degree in information security, risk management, or information technology, or equivalent qualifications and experience, as well as additional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA)
• At least 5 years of professional experience in information security and risk management, preferably in the financial industry
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and landscapes
• Knowledge of technologies and emerging risks such as cloud computing, AI, robotics, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and JIRA
• Experience with analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is an advantage.
