Technology Risk Control Manager

Job description

The position of Technology Risk Control Manager is part of the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) organization and is responsible for ensuring the appropriate management of technology-related risks and the protection of information as one of the most valuable assets.

Tasks

• Support and promote the definition, implementation, and maintenance of the IT and security risk governance framework
• Monitoring the technology-related control framework and challenging the first line of defense regarding the design and operational effectiveness of technology-related controls
• Reviewing the risk assessment and risk assessment processes of the first line of defense and ensuring that risk assessments are conducted consistently and in line with the bank's risk management framework

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for risk management and drive to build up the newly established function and make it successful
• A hands-on individual who can work independently and drive initiatives and tasks forward
• Degree in information security, risk management, or information technology, or equivalent qualifications or experience, as well as additional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA)
• At least 5 years of professional experience in information security and risk management, preferably in the financial industry
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and landscapes
• Knowledge of technologies and emerging risks such as cloud computing, AI, robotics, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and JIRA
• Experience with analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is an advantage.
