Third-Party Risk Manager
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Third-Party Risk Manager to oversee risk management for third-party providers and strengthen operational resilience processes. The ideal candidate has at least 4–6 years of experience in risk management and excellent analytical skills.
Tasks
- Implementation and operation of the local third-party risk management governance framework in accordance with JB guidelines
- Ensuring adequate oversight of end-to-end third-party risk management processes and the underlying group tools
- Conducting outsourcing risk assessments or ad hoc reviews of third-party providers
- Monitoring the performance and risks of third-party providers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably in business or law)
- Extensive experience in risk governance and/or non-financial risk management, with at least 4–6 years of experience in management consulting or at an accounting firm or law firm
- Solid understanding of outsourcing/third-party risk regulations and industry best practices
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Proven ability to quickly grasp new concepts and ideas and to integrate and assimilate information of varying levels of complexity and interrelationships within broad, multifunctional contexts
- Excellent analytical, project management, and conceptual skills
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and hands-on individual
- A reserved person with a critical mindset who is comfortable challenging the status quo
- Fluent in French and English
