Job Description
The Trading & Operations Analyst plays a critical role in portfolio management, trade execution, and business development for EFGAM’s U.S. Growth Equities team. Responsibilities include:- Executing trades across multiple platforms using the Order Management System (OMS—Charles River) and ensuring best execution.
- Support for the onboarding and maintenance of separately managed accounts and platform relationships (e.g., Everest and Pershing).
- Serves as a key operational partner for portfolio managers, sales, risk, compliance, and other stakeholders.
- Implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives to support the scalable growth of the U.S. growth equities platform.
Tasks and responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities include:- Trading and Portfolio Management: Managing trade execution across multiple products and platforms, ensuring that portfolio decisions are implemented accurately and in a timely manner.
- Platform Onboarding and Operations: Managing the onboarding process and ongoing support for trading platforms, maintaining existing platforms through regular certifications, AUM reporting, and marketing updates/communications.
- Sales Support, Reporting, and Marketing: Providing high-quality support to portfolio management and sales teams by developing client performance metrics and analyses, preparing presentation materials, and coordinating responses to RFPs and individual client inquiries.
- Automation, innovation, and process improvement: Identifying challenges and implementing action items and workflows; setting goals for operational efficiency; contributing to the design and implementation of automation initiatives.
Requirements and qualifications
The requirements and qualifications include:- Education: Bachelor's degree in financial mathematics, economics, finance, engineering, statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a quantitative, trading, or investment operations role, ideally in derivatives and asset management, wealth management, or a similar environment.
- Technical and product knowledge: Direct experience with OMS.
