Trading Sales & Distribution Executive

Taurus SA is seeking a Trading Sales & Distribution Executive who will be responsible for the sales and customer acquisition of digital assets and the TDX electronic trading platform. The focus is on acquiring new customers and increasing trading volume.

Job description

Tasks

  • Promotion and sale of regulated digital asset trading services, in particular TDX, a regulated electronic trading platform for cryptocurrencies and tokenized securities
  • Onboarding new customers and generating trading volume
  • Proactively build a pipeline and develop new clients (e.g., banks, investment firms, asset managers, institutional clients, corporations, HNWIs) who are willing to trade digital assets or offer digital asset trading platforms to their end clients.
  • Fast and smooth customer onboarding in close cooperation with the support teams (e.g. KYC, FIX trade connection setup)
  • Responsibility for the entire sales process; engagement with prospects and listing and qualification of deals, search and coordination of RFPs with prospects and within the internal Taurus team, preparation, management, and follow-up of sales calls and prospect interactions, as well as negotiations for the conclusion of new customer contracts.
  • Managing the existing customer base to ensure high satisfaction and active use of the platform
  • Coordinate with product team to ensure smooth handover of sales, product gap feedback
  • Proposal of new ideas, strategies, campaigns for sales success
  • Outreach; representing Taurus at third-party events and conferences, contributing to marketing, PR, and external communications, as well as establishing partnerships with institutions in the field and monitoring the competitive landscape

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of professional experience in trading and brokerage sales in the financial services sector (e.g., at a brokerage firm or stock exchange)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or economics
  • Solid and diversified customer base, experience in building a strong pipeline and sales life cycle
  • Strong interest and knowledge in digital assets
  • Good knowledge of finance and capital markets
  • Good understanding of financial support, marketing, and cross-border regulations
  • Dynamic and proactive as an entrepreneur
  • Availability for extended travel to visit customers on site when necessary
  • Fluent in English, language skills in another language are an advantage
