Trading Sales & Distribution Executive
Taurus SA is seeking a Trading Sales & Distribution Executive to be responsible for the distribution of digital assets and the acquisition of new clients. The ideal candidate should have experience in financial services sales and a strong interest in digital assets.
Tasks
The Head of Trading Sales & Distribution will be responsible for promoting and selling our regulated digital asset trading services, particularly our regulated electronic trading platform, TDX, for cryptocurrencies and tokenized securities. The focus is on acquiring new clients and generating trading volume. The following key activities are part of the role: * Proactively building a pipeline and acquiring new clients (e.g., banks, investment firms, asset managers, institutional clients, corporations, high-net-worth individuals) who wish to trade digital assets or offer digital asset trading platforms to their own end clients * Ensuring fast and seamless client onboarding in close collaboration with support teams (e.g., KYC, FIX trading connection setup) * Responsibility for the entire sales process; Interacting with potential clients, identifying and qualifying opportunities, coordinating RFPs with potential clients and within the internal Taurus team, preparing, managing, and tracking sales meetings and interactions with potential clients, and negotiating the closure of new client contracts * Managing the existing client base to ensure high satisfaction and active use of the platform * Internal coordination with the product team to ensure that sales are handed off to the product team and product gap feedback is provided * Proposing new ideas, strategies, and campaigns for sales success * External representation; Representing Taurus at third-party events and conferences, contributing to marketing, PR, and external communications, building partnerships with industry institutions, and monitoring the competitive landscapeRequirements
* 5–10 years of professional experience in trading and brokerage sales within the financial services industry (e.g., at a brokerage firm or stock exchange) * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or economics * A solid and diverse client base, with experience in building a strong sales pipeline and managing the sales cycle * Strong interest in and knowledge of digital assets * Strong knowledge of finance and capital markets * Good understanding of financial advertising, marketing, and cross-border regulations * Dynamic and proactive entrepreneur * Willingness to travel extensively to visit clients on-site when necessary * Fluent in English; fluency in another language is a plusWe offer
