The role of Transaction Manager involves day-to-day management and monitoring of operational activities in the area of commodity trade finance for the assigned client portfolio, working closely with Relationship Managers (RMs). Responsibilities cover all types of commodities.

Requirements

• Experience in commodity trade finance, preferably in a bank
• Strong technical knowledge of commodity trade finance activities
• Good knowledge of banking products in general
• Risk-aware and solution-oriented
• Entrepreneurial and analytical spirit
• Computer skills with excellent command of MS Office applications
• Fluent in English and French; other languages are a plus
• Customer-focused
• Excellent communication and social skills

Responsibility covers all types of raw materials and includes:

• The management and execution of daily commodity trade finance transactions in coordination with relationship managers (RMs)
• The transactional tracking of a customer portfolio
• Monitoring customer margins, transactions, and hedging positions
• Daily updating of customer positions in the banking system
• Maintaining excellent contacts with customers and promoting business relationships
• Responding to customer inquiries and delivering high-quality services
• Close cooperation with the RM and participation in customer meetings, if necessary
• Coordination of all legal and compliance issues between the client and the bank at the transactional level
