Transfer Agency Investor Services Officer
The Transfer Agency Investor Services Officer is responsible for overseeing a team, managing client relationships and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The role can be performed in a hybrid model with flexible working hours and home office options.
Job description
Tasks
- Responsible for final approval of internal (e.g. NAV), client and investor reports to ensure all fund activity is recorded accurately and in accordance with agreed policies and procedures
- Overseeing the Transfer Agency team, managing key priorities, planning team work, managing team resources, including recruitment of new staff
- Building and maintaining customer relationships through regular meetings, forums, ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction
- Act as contact person for customer escalations
- Develop and implement key improvements to processes, procedures and new policy changes within the department
- Collaborate with internal developers on system improvements to improve efficiency and productivity within the team
Requirements
Required skills
- Promote a risk-aware culture within the team to drive the zero-defect policy
- Proactively identify gaps in key internal controls and work with the wider TA manager/director panel to close gaps
- Responsibility for the effective management of the team and all associated HR policies, performance and career development
- Participate in department-wide training efforts - design and deliver training courses and promote on-the-job training
Education and preferred qualifications
- Degree in finance and/or a related field (minimum 2.2) or relevant professional experience
- 4-6 years of experience in fund administration (preferably hedge transfer agency) with at least 2 years of experience in personnel management
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Experience of working to tight deadlines, with the ability to multi-task and work calmly under pressure
- Experience in customer relationship management is essential for this role
- Good working knowledge of AML and regulations affecting the industry
