Transformation Manager 100% (Fixed-term until April 30, 2027) (f/m/d)
Julius Baer is seeking a Transformation Manager in Zurich (fixed-term position through April 2027) to lead and implement strategic transformation initiatives in the area of digital business transformation. The role requires experience in project management and in translating strategic goals into concrete business results within the financial services industry.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Support and drive strategic transformation initiatives from planning through implementation and the realization of benefits
- Analyze complex business challenges, conduct analyses, and develop practical solutions to improve processes, operating models, and organizational effectiveness
- Translate strategic objectives into clear project plans, work streams, milestones, and success criteria
- Manage project governance activities, including status reporting, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, and decision preparation
- Coordinate initiatives across business and technology teams to ensure that project objectives are effectively aligned
- Monitor project progress, identify delivery risks, and proactively propose mitigation measures
- Prepare presentations, business cases, and executive updates for management and executive committees
- Collaborate across locations and functions to foster alignment, transparency, and excellence in delivery
YOUR PROFILE
- A university degree or equivalent in business administration, engineering, information systems, or a related field
- Relevant experience in transformation, consulting, project management, and operating model development within the financial services industry or similarly complex environments
- Experience supporting or leading project workstreams, including planning, coordination, and stakeholder management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and develop actionable recommendations
- Experience analyzing business processes, operating models, or organizational structures to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency gains, and value creation
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills when working with senior stakeholders and diverse teams
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating ownership, rigor, and a can-do attitude
- Fluency in English; German is considered an asset
