Transformation Strategist 80% - 100% (m/f/d)

Tasks

  • Escalation of important decisions to high-level management committees
  • Enable cross-program alignment across business and technology on demand, delivery, and design - ensuring alignment with Target Operating Model of the bank
  • Drive process automation to enhance governance efficiency, transparency, and reporting quality for senior stakeholders
  • Partner with senior leaders across business, technology, and functions; foster strong relationships through regular engagement and feedback
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact reports and decision briefs for the Executive Board and Board of Directors
  • Maintain the 3-year strategic change roadmap, ensuring full alignment with bank strategy and annual planning
  • Set clear, outcome-focused targets (e.g., business value, KPIs) at program level to measure progress and success
  • Oversee end-to-end portfolio performance, tracking scope, budget, timelines, risks, and benefits to ensure in-scope, on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Establish efficient collaboration model and partnership with Group Strategy, Finance, Risk, and Delivery teams to ensure integrated planning and execution
  • Apply robust risk and budget management practices to safeguard delivery integrity

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8+ years of experience in business transformation, portfolio/project management, ideally in wealth management or global banking
  • Proven experience in project portfolio management with a strong focus on business cases, budgeting & controlling, and deliverables tracking
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to align project portfolios to organizational goals
  • Understanding of agile delivery, especially with regard to value delivery (i.e. understanding of OKRs/KPIs) in an agile context
  • Team player, resilient and able to work in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders, executives and project teams
  • Keen ability to conceptualize ideas, convey compelling narratives, effectively visualize leadership and project teams

Language skills

  • Fluent in English
  • German language skills an advantage
