Tasks

As Capital Management & Group Insurance Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team at the heart of Julius Baer Group Treasury, driving the execution of the Group's capital transactions and managing the liquidity of the listed holding company. - Drive the planning and execution of on-/ex-ante and intra-capital transactions (including hybrid capital) as well as financing transactions for the Julius Baer Group / Bank Julius Baer - Support the internal dividend collection and planning process in accordance with local laws and regulations - Prepare the execution of capital injections, capital reductions, and/or debt financing of legal entities in close cooperation with tax, legal, and local management (regional/departmental CFOs) - Evaluate and, if necessary, execute risk transfer transactions and asset-backed financing transactions - Manage the liquidity of the listed holding company (Julius Baer Group) - Contribute to the management of group insurance policies, with a focus on financial lines, in collaboration with the insurance broker - Assist in the settlement of employee DB0 schemes (outside Switzerland) in collaboration with the insurance broker - Support the maintenance of relationships with the Group's key investment banks

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is proactive, analytical, and eager to learn: - University degree in economics, finance, mathematics, engineering, or a related field - 3–5 years of experience in a similar role or in the capital markets department of an investment bank - Ideally, experience as a project manager, including coordinating various stakeholders across functions - Strong analytical skills with extensive experience in Microsoft Office, including creating structured financial models in Excel and producing high-quality presentations in PowerPoint - Independent, resilient, and team-oriented personality who can work under pressure while paying attention to detail - Strong interpersonal skills paired with excellent communication skills - Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with a proven track record of close collaboration across business functions
