Job description

The Treasury Product Control (Associate) position involves responsibility for monitoring and analyzing unsecured funding (UF) and supporting the Treasury Funding Desk, planning, and business.

Tasks

Daily tasks include:
  • Daily monitoring and forecasting of UF, review and analysis of treasury PL
  • Collaborate with the front office to produce accurate UF forecasts and provide management information
  • Understanding of daily funding fee summaries, including day-to-day variance analysis
  • Interaction with Trading, Operations, and other Product Control groups to resolve issues related to booking, valuation, and financial resource utilization
  • Understanding the drivers of UF movements in different business areas
  • Provision of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly profit and loss statements
  • Ensuring that appropriate controls are in place, as measured by KRI metrics
The monthly tasks include:
  • Closing the company's books and records, including any necessary manual journal entries and balance sheet substantiation

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have the following experience and skills:
  • General experience in product control, preferably with a focus on treasury products and asset classes, but not essential
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Experience with operational functions
  • Experience working with global teams and functions
  • Team player, proactive, self-starter, who can be dynamic and detail-oriented
  • Organized, able to prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly understand information
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
