Treasury Risk Analyst, Assistant Vice President (Hybrid)Tasks
- Independent risk monitoring and assessment of State Street's liquidity risk
- Support in reviewing and challenging liquidity risk data frameworks and reporting effectiveness
- Calibration of liquidity risk models and review of liquidity risk management frameworks
- Supporting and improving the assessment, monitoring and reporting of liquidity risks and compliance with liquidity requirements
- Leading or supporting critical projects with a high impact on business results
- Support of senior managers and communication with regulatory authorities
- Assistance in the calibration of liquidity risk models and review of liquidity risk management frameworks
- Supporting and improving the assessment, monitoring and reporting of liquidity risks and compliance with liquidity requirements
- Management and documentation of analyses and processes to improve the team frameworks
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a banking organization, ideally in the area of market risk
- Master's degree in economics, finance or a related field; or quantitative background
- Analytical skills and good knowledge of quantitative methods applied to markets
- Programming skills in at least one programming language (Python, R etc.)
- Solid understanding of financial instruments and the balance sheet of a global bank
- Experience with liquidity risk as a banking organization is a plus
- Self-starter with a strong willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Independent and critical thinking skills and strong financial knowledge
- Team player with unquestionable integrity and ethical standards
- Strong work ethic and highly organized to handle multiple tasks
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications
