Treasury Specialist 100% (m/f/d)
Julius Baer is seeking a Treasury Specialist (100%) in Luxembourg to support the bank in asset and liability management (ALM), liquidity management, and regulatory compliance. The position requires at least three years of experience in treasury as well as in-depth knowledge of balance sheet management and relevant financial systems.
Tasks
- Support for the bank's asset and liability management (ALM), including liquidity, funding, interest rate risk, and balance sheet structure.
- Monitor and track the performance of the management company's products within the Bloomberg research platform for commodities (GLS), futures, and exchange-traded products, using external and approved risk limits at the bank level.
- Identifying and implementing initiatives to increase profitability.
- Providing expertise in asset management and corporate finance regarding interest rates, monetary policy, projects, and conversion.
- Ensuring compliance with Group Treasury guidelines, governance standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring regulatory developments and overseeing the implementation of related changes.
- Monitoring and enforcement of the treasury position, equity interests, and transfer file: Consolidation and Group Reporting.
- Support for day-to-day settlement operations in liquidity, financing, and money market trading.
- Development of treasury tools that support business processes, customer needs, and treasury-related risk management.
- Management of routine treasury reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in treasury, accounts receivable, market management, risk management, or private markets within the financial industry.
- In-depth knowledge of liquidity management, financing, balance sheet management, treasury operations, and ALM.
- A solid understanding of regulatory requirements, risk, capital, and central bank regulations.
- Expertise in an internal and/or equity-based environment.
- Familiarity with treasury and banking systems, ideally: Sygma, Tibco.
- Experience with Bloomberg LBMS or other market data platforms.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- A proactive and focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
