Trust Administrator
The Trust Administrator position at Julius Baer in Singapore involves the administration and servicing of trusts, including the review and preparation of documents, record keeping and communication with internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in wealth management, technical knowledge of trust and corporate law and strong communication and analytical skills.
Job description
Tasks
- Reviewing, drafting, negotiating and distributing trust documents (e.g. trust deed, amendment, supplemental deed) and conducting legal/factual due diligence reviews
- Support for the trust and investment manager if required
- Management and control of all trust documents
- Processing new business inquiries in cooperation with colleagues from all departments
Client Management (internal & external)
- Customer support (internal/external): Acts as a link between internal clients (key people in the private banking sector) and external clients (clients and selected external service providers)
- Provision of high-quality trust and fund company services for high net worth/ultra high net worth individuals
- Working with the Wealth Planning Advisory unit as required to process new business inquiries from potential internal/external clients and professional intermediaries
- Interact with customers to maintain high levels of morale and team values
Business Management
- Management and supervision of complex trusts, companies and other in-house and external trust structures
- Work closely with colleagues in the Wealth Planning department to maximize continuity/efficiency across the Group
- Management of day-to-day business, approval of financial reports, review of fiduciary clients
Regulatory Responsibilities A.O. & Risk Management
- Demonstrate appropriate values and behaviors, including standards of honesty and integrity, care and diligence, fair treatment of customers
- Maintain sound working practices to ensure the satisfaction of key internal and external stakeholders/regulators
- Internal analysis and management of situations with potentially high commercial (fiduciary) risk

Professional and technical requirements
- Professional qualifications or relevant industry experience
- Ideal: 5 years or more experience in wealth management
- Broad technical knowledge and experience in fiduciary, corporate, tax and estate planning, financial planning, accounting, banking and investments
