UBS Card Center - Senior Domain Architect 80-100% (m/f/d)

As a Senior Domain Architect at UBS in Glanbrugg, you will help design the IT infrastructure architecture for card transactions and establish transparent architecture governance. You will evaluate new technologies, define processes, and work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to ensure performance and scalability.

Tasks

  • Design, documentation, and further development of the architectural landscape and roadmap for the infrastructure supporting map production and payment solutions
  • Establishment and management of a transparent architecture governance framework, including cross-functional and cross-departmental decision-making processes; facilitating and ensuring that decisions are binding and documented
  • Evaluating new technologies (e.g., cloud platforms, containers, security) and making sustainable architectural decisions; working with solution architects to translate business requirements into robust solutions
  • Close collaboration with business stakeholders, development teams, and overarching architectural frameworks (business and IT)
  • Definition of Architecture Processes
  • Designing the architecture of the IT infrastructure to ensure that card transactions are processed quickly and securely
  • Work closely with the development team and ensure that architectural decisions align with the desired performance and scalability goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science
  • Several years of experience as an infrastructure developer
  • Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; a role at the intersection of IT and business
  • Fluency in German (at least B2 level) and very good English skills
