UBS Card Center - Senior Mainframe COBOL Developer, Full-Time (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Technical analysis of business requirements from various stakeholders and implementation of those requirements in a comprehensive and modern IT environment
• Preparation of impact analyses and estimates for various projects
• Role as a Mainframe Technology Expert in the Card Con Division
• Building knowledge about the existing application landscape and using that knowledge to enhance the applications
• Provision of third-level support for the Core Card Management division, as well as other support tasks, including on-call duty

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of the CMM product
• Excellent knowledge of COBOL programming
• Very positive experience with Change Control (Endeca Change Flow)
• Very good knowledge of JCL and Conolly
• Excellent knowledge of CICS
• Very good working knowledge of ODDSS (IBM database)
• Expertise in the application of PCI DSS 4.0 standards
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Maven, Jenkins, and Git (or equivalent knowledge of software development tools)
• Strong analytical skills; you know how to tackle and solve problems
• Enjoy working independently and proactively as part of an agile, motivated, and highly skilled team
• Experience in an agile environment, for example as a ScrumMaster
• Experience in the financial sector, particularly in the card industry, is a significant advantage
• Proficiency in spoken and written English (at least C1) and German (at least B1)
