As an independent central bank, the Swiss National Bank (SNB) conducts monetary policy in the interests of the country as a whole. It ensures price stability and thus contributes to an environment in which the economy can develop well. The Unified Communications team in the Electronic Workplace unit is responsible for the further development, maintenance, and second-level support of the various communication services and end-user applications in use.

Your contribution

Your responsibilities include:

• Technical responsibility for individual services and applications provided by the Unified Communications team
• Collaboration in the further development, maintenance, and operation of messaging and unified communications platforms, as well as product development, which is primarily based on Microsoft technologies
• Project management of smaller IT projects for the maintenance of existing systems or introduction of new solutions
• Project work in various IT projects
• Second-level support with priority service

Your knowledge and experience

You should have the following qualifications and experience:

• A completed degree in computer science or further training as an ICT Platform Development Specialist with a federal certificate, or similar.
• Experience in operating and maintaining communications infrastructure and services (Microsoft Exchange, Secure Email, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Cisco Telepresence, Mobile Device Management)
• Experience in planning, designing, integrating, and managing solutions as a systems engineer
• Experience as a project manager for smaller IT projects is an advantage
• Analytical and conceptual skills, independent and structured approach to work, initiative, and understanding of IT systems
• You can communicate in German both verbally and in writing and have a good command of English.
