UC Systems Engineer

The Swiss National Bank is seeking a UC System Engineer (80%–100%) for its "Unified Communications" department in Zurich, who will be responsible for the further development, maintenance, and operation of communication services and end-user applications. The successful candidate should have experience in planning, designing, and managing solutions based on Microsoft and Cisco technologies.

Your tasks

  • Technical responsibility for individual services and applications provided by the Unified Communications team
  • Contribute to the further development, maintenance, and operation of messaging and unified communications platforms, as well as production tools, which are currently based on Microsoft and Cisco technologies
  • Project management of smaller IT projects for the maintenance of existing systems or introduction of new solutions
  • Project work in various IT projects
  • Second-Level Support with a Priority List

Your profile

  • You have completed a degree in computer science or advanced training as an ICT Platform Development Specialist with a Swiss Federal Certificate or equivalent
  • Experience in the planning, design, installation, and management of System Engineer solutions
  • Experience in the operation and maintenance of Cisco systems (VoIP, Cisco Exchange, Secure Email, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Webex, Cisco Telepresence, Mobile Device Management)
  • Experience as a project manager for smaller IT projects is an advantage
  • You possess analytical and conceptual skills, have an independent and structured work style, and demonstrate a degree of initiative and a sense of responsibility
  • You can communicate effectively in German, both verbally and in writing, and have a good command of English
