UK Intermediary Sales Director

Job description: UK Intermediary Sales Director
Tasks
- Planning:
- Definition of the business strategy (market segmentation, target customers, growth plan)
- Analysis of developments and trends in alternative investments in peer groups
- Prioritization of products for sales planning and input into product development
- Sale:
- Management of a structured sales process for lead generation, follow-up and conversion of customers
- Systematic customer acquisition and progress in customer takeover
- Vontobel's positioning and the investment views of the portfolio managers
- Ensuring a competitive and consistent positioning of Vontobel and our products
- Oversee RFP and tender processes to ensure customer requirements are optimally covered (in collaboration with dedicated support teams)
- Collaboration with the UK/Ireland sales team in London as well as the investment teams and the investment communications team in Zurich
- Marketing coordination:
- Planning of regional roadshows, marketing campaigns and participation in investment conferences in line with the overall marketing plan
- Strengthening the Vontobel brand in the intermediaries market
- Optimization of all marketing materials (brochures, presentations, etc.)
Requirements
- Senior sales and relationship manager with at least 7 years' experience in asset management sales in the UK
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of building long-term relationships and significant assets under management (AUM)
- Established network in the areas of family office, asset management and funds of funds
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivation, ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Customer-oriented mindset combined with a real passion for investment
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- High level of personal integrity
