Unified Communications Engineer (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Unified Communication Engineer (m/f/d) to design, operate, and continuously improve the global UC infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure collaboration for all employees. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical training and experience in UC infrastructure, including networking fundamentals and Microsoft 365.
Tasks
The tasks include:- Integration of UC requirements into local and global IT initiatives
- 3rd level support for UC incidents: solving complex technical problems, performing root cause analyses, and minimizing disruptions to business operations
- Documentation ownership: Updating technical configurations and creating clear user manuals to support efficient service delivery and adoption
- Collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders: Communicate with technology providers, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure that SLAs are met and future needs are proactively addressed.
Requirements
The following requirements apply to this position:- Higher technical education: Degree from a university of applied sciences (FH/TS) or equivalent in IT/telecommunications
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills: Independent, efficient, and precise work in a demanding environment
- Strong understanding of underlying UC infrastructure: knowledge of network fundamentals (VoIP, QoS, SIP, RTP) and integration with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and firewall/security systems
- Experience with monitoring and automation tools: Ability to use UC management platforms and log teams
