Unified Communications Engineer (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Unified Communication Engineer (m/f/d) to design, operate, and continuously improve the global UC infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure collaboration for all employees. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical training and experience in UC infrastructure, including networking fundamentals and Microsoft 365.
Tasks
- Integration of UC requirements into local and global IT initiatives
- Third-level support for UC incidents: Resolving complex technical issues, conducting root cause analyses, and minimizing disruptions to business operations
- Documentation: Maintaining up-to-date technical configurations and creating clear user manuals to support efficient service delivery and adoption
- Collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders: Communicating with technology providers, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure that SLAs are met and future needs are proactively addressed
Requirements
- Higher technical education: Degree from a university of applied sciences (FH/TS) or equivalent in IT/telecommunications
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills: Able to work independently, efficiently, and with precision in a demanding environment
- Strong understanding of underlying UC infrastructure: knowledge of network fundamentals (VoIP, QoS, SIP, RTP) and integration with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and firewall/security systems
- Experience with monitoring and automation tools: Experience with UC management platforms, log teams, and regions
