Unified Communications Engineer (f/m/d)
Julius Baer is seeking a Unified Communications Engineer to design, operate, and improve the global UC infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure collaboration for all employees. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical training and experience in UC infrastructure, including networking fundamentals and Microsoft 365.
Tasks
- Ensuring integration of UC requirements in local and global IT initiatives
- 3rd level support for UC incidents: Resolve complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure minimal disruption to business operations
- Documentation ownership: Maintain up-to-date technical configurations and create clear end-user guides to support efficient service delivery and adoption
- Collaboration with vendors and stakeholders: Liaise with technology vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure SLAs are met and future needs are addressed proactively.
Requirements
- Higher technical education: Degree from a university of applied sciences (FH/HT) or equivalent in IT/telecommunications
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills: Work independently, efficiently, and accurately in a demanding environment
- Strong understanding of underlying UC infrastructure: knowledge of network fundamentals (VoIP, QoS, SIP, RTP) and integration with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and firewall/security systems
- Experience with monitoring and automation tools: Experience with UC management platforms, log teams, and regions
