Job description

As part of the CFO Western Markets & Switzerland team, responsible for the Europe-Luxembourg market, you will be part of the Regional CFO Team at Bank Julius Baer Europe Luxembourg. This team plays a key role as the point of contact for the front office and supports regional senior management in performance management to help them achieve their financial goals.

Tasks

• Have an impact on strategic finance-related projects and initiatives that involve direct interaction with the front office (e.g., balance sheet management)
• Drive strategic finance initiatives to support the CFO Luxembourg / Regional CFO Western Market and the Swiss organization (Switzerland) by serving as a sounding board for the front office on finance-related matters, with direct involvement in project work within the in-house Private & Institutional Bank portfolio
• Advance legally independent initiatives and reporting for Bank Julius Baer Europe S.A., Luxembourg, Head Office
• Promote the bank's commercial performance in close collaboration with the legal entity's CFO, the corporate treasurer, and senior management (COIO & COCT)
• Ensure sound balance sheet management and address liquidity initiatives and diversification strategies to improve financial resilience

Requirements

• Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades
• Outstanding achievements in a discipline that aligns with your intended field of specialization
