The position as University Graduate - Employee Compliance (Flex-Track) at Julius Baer in Zurich offers the opportunity to be part of the Global Compliance team and protect the integrity of the bank by identifying and mitigating employee-related conflicts of interest and behavioral risks. The start date for this full-time position is October 1, 2026.

Tasks

As part of the Global Compliance function, you will join the Employee Related Conflicts Team, which plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of the bank by identifying, assessing, and mitigating employee-related conflicts of interest and behavioral risks. Responsibilities include:
  • Assistance with the management of compliance-related matters involving employees, including the assessment of employee inquiries and concerns regarding outside employment, gifts, and entertainment, as well as the review of personal employee trading activities and securities holdings.
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including compliance colleagues, HR, markets, legal, and front office colleagues.
  • Support in creating policies and monitoring to ensure transparency and regulatory alignment for all employees.
  • Contribute to maintaining trust, fairness, and cooperation throughout the organization by proactively addressing employee-related compliance concerns and coordinating with other locations.

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:
  • Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades in business administration, finance, risk management, compliance, or computer science/information systems (max. 12 months old).
  • Initial practical experience in financial services or regulatory/compliance projects, as well as in process optimization, control frameworks, data analysis, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • A passion for asset management and a desire to create value beyond wealth.
  • A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong desire to learn.
  • Fluent English, with additional languages a plus.
  • Permission to work in the country you are applying for.
